Brooksvile Raid with Kettle Korn

Charlie and Rob
Our kettle korn season started the third weekend in January with the Brooksville Raid--the 32nd, which is presented by the Hernando Historical Socciety.  It is Steve and my twenty-second or twwenty third.  We did several of these raids before as re.enactors on the field before we started kettle korn and sutlering and kinda lost track of the exact number of years.  Until 1996, Steve served as a private in the First Minnesota, and I served as a field nurse carrying water to the troops on the field--carrying water and ice.  Florida re.enacting can be very HOT.  (The Brooksville Raid, on the other hand can give us record cold...I will elaborate on this later).
